The CRD Sport U
The French University Sport Federation (called FF Sport U) " aims at promoting and organizing the practice of amateur sporting events for university students and students in higher education, as well as, subject to particular agreements, for sports unions in primary or secondary education". (Article 1 of the Statutes of FF Sport U).
Three levels of competition are organized by CRD sport U of Haute-Normandie:
- The competitions for the title of the Regional University Champion,
- The competitions for the title of the French University Champion,
- And the competitions of sports animation which enable the discovery of new sports activities, where the arrangement of rules allows the practice for all.
All these competitions are to be classified in two categories: the collective sports and the individual sports. These take place every Thursday a the afternoon from 1:00 pm.
CRD sport U of Haute-Normandie organized, for the sports season 2004/2005, a little more than 1 000 competitions among which approximately 500 took place in Haute-normandie, for 1725 licensee, helped by almost a hundred volunteers.
Beyond the organizational capacities of CRD sport U of Haute-Normandie, we can also underline the quality of the results and the good sports fair-play of the Haut-normandie university athletes.
