The University of Rouen: the student life, the plural activities
The University of Rouen, strong of its 40 years of experiences and its 8 constituents (6 UFR and 2 IUT), offers all the palette of the training courses for which we can expect from a regional and multidisciplinary university.
The training courses, by definition, lean on the research in varied and strongly recognizable domains thanks to the main recognized and certified laboratories (INSERM, NATIONAL CENTRE FOR SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH) and thanks to 5 doctoral schools. The research is one of two fundamental missions of the University. She creates new knowledge, she strengthens the development and the economic growth by the contribution of new technologies, she offers a student's specific formation. She collaborates strictly with the world of the industry. The University of Rouen is young and strength. She has laboratories and small teams with very high level, characterized by the flexibility.
We work at developing this potential and strengthening structures of creations and innovations, particularly with the other university institutions of the region, by creating a center of research and higher education capable of leading the Norman research towards a more ample European and international recognition
To guarantee a good conditions of studies, but also enriching in very varied domains, the University of Rouen proposes to his students plural activities : the festivals in the the city, a House of the University, the exposition, the colloquiums, the card culture, "Radio Campus"…
